The Aiden Crossan Sports Scholarships Programme supports high performance sports men and women who have the talent and dedication to combine an academic course with excellence in sport.

This programme is also open to students who do not want to compete in sporting activities but wish to get involved in running a club and have a proven track record of success in organising and developing club structures.

The Sports Scholarships Programme reflects the commitment of Cavan Institute to aspire to the highest standards possible.

Awards and Criteria
Scholarships will be awarded at Gold, Silver and Bronze level. The following criteria will apply:

• Gold Award - the Gold level scholarships are aimed at students that are competing at a high level of their chosen sport, for example, Inter-county, Inter-provincial, International, FAI League of Ireland.

• Silver Award - the Silver level scholarships aim to give students the opportunity to develop and attain the highest level in their chosen sport while studying at Cavan Institute for example, club or local football team, underage Inter-county.

• Bronze Award - the Bronze level scholarships aim to give students the opportunity to develop and attain a competitive level in their chosen sport while studying at Cavan Institute for example, club or local football team, underage Inter-county.
